Your Seasons at the Farm
You can visit the farm through the seasons. Every visit to McCollum Orchards May through October will be different and unique. What begins in May with the Garden Plant Sale grows into a summer of flowers, gatherings, and time spent outdoors connecting with Nature.
Over the years, the farm, and we, have grown and changed just like the seasons. Today, the farm is open in a different way that balances with our family life. In May, it begins with the Garden Plant Sales. By mid-July, the flower fields are in full bloom. Later in summer, we gather around long tables for farm dinners at sunset. Each visit is unique. Each visit connects you with the bounty of the farm at that moment.
We no longer offer a CSA farm share program, daily farmstand, or apple picking. Please connect with many farms in Niagara County who offer those wonderful experiences to support more local farms. We have found something that we love for our family and love to share with visitors throughout the season.
May – Garden Plant Sale
The Garden Plant Sale is the kick-off to our farm visit season! Tables in front of the big white saltbox barn are covered with strong, healthy flowers, herbs, and vegetables for you to take home and plant in your summer garden.
July-October
The flower u-pick fields are in full bloom! Walk the rows, cut bright, beautiful flowers, and bring home fresh bouquets each week, all summer long.
July – Garden Walk
During Lockport in Bloom, stop by the farm for a farm tour, guided by Farmer Rich or self-guided. A Weekend of inspiration wandering through beautiful gardens across Lockport.
July – Farm Pizza Night
A summer evening in late July on the farm with flower upick, fresh, hot oven baked pizza, gathered with friends or family on a picnic blanket or bistro tables, enjoying the music, breeze and farm atmosphere.
August – Farm Harvest Dinner
Enjoy a five-course dining experience among the blooming flower beds at sunset and experience the farm at its most abundant. An evening to savor.

From Our Family
For nearly 200 years, this farm has been cared for by our family. Today, we are the 6th generation here, growing flowers, food and a place for people to connect with farming and Nature. What started as a way to bring the farm back to life has become so much more than we ever expected. It has become a place where people come to slow down, reconnect and spend time together.
Rooted in Tradition. Grown with Care. Shared with Joy.
Everything we grow starts here on the farm. We have seeded, tended and harvested it with care. Our plants and flowers are chosen for their beauty and flavor and from crops that thrive here in Western New York.
We invite you to walk the rows of flowers in bloom. Take your time and soak in the sunshine and notice Nature’s perfect details. Return throughout the season for each new and unique seasonal change.

Curious how modern market farms work? We host and give farm tours for different groups, like student groups, teacher groups, gardening clubs, artist communities, and, of course, fellow farmers. If you want to book a farm tour, please email Bree at mccollumorchards@gmail.com

With Gratitude
When you visit the farm, whether to pick flowers or share a meal, you become part of something much bigger. You help keep a nearly 200 year old farm alive and growing. That means more to us, the 6th generation, than we can say. We hope you will visit the farm this season. Walk the gardens. Pick flowers. Bring a friend.
With love and gratitude,
Rich & Bree and the McCollum Orchards crew
